From us to you

Northern Zouk Hub is our dance project in Scotland. We love Brazilian Zouk and what it brings in connection, how it can be used as an artistic tool of expression; while still being an extremely fun, at times challenging social dance. 

We want to share our passion and values with you, and in this create a safe place to freely express yourself through movement. 

One thing we consider important to address, collectively we have nearly 2 decades of experience in Latin, Classic, and Urban dance disciplines; and thousands of hours poured into Zouk dance, teacher training, event organizing, and Zouk teacher assisting. It's important to us that we put out there that we are lifelong students of this dance, we ourselves are still learning and we'll never stop learning. So we feel it's more correct to consider ourselves dance deconstructors and facilitators in sharing and spreading our Zouk knowledge rather than teachers or instructors.

This is our way of showing respect to many people in this dance who have spent years of apprentice work and put in countless hours,

and sacrifice in mastering our shared craft before calling themselves teacher, professor, or mestre/a.
